Friends of Families Playgroup: Thursdays at 10 am
Friends of Families weekly FREE playgroup will resume on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Parish Hall at United Church of Hinesburg for a welcoming morning of play and connection. Caregivers and children aged 0-5 are welcome. We look forward to welcoming families back for another year of fun and friendship! Please reach out with any questions to Alex at [email protected]. Friends of Families FREE Fall Children's Clothing Swap: Saturday, October 17, 2026 Friends of Families program will be hosting their annual FREE Fall Children's Clothing Swap on Saturday October 17 from 9-11am at the United Church of Hinesburg's Parish Hall. Donations will be accepted from 12-7pm on Friday October 16th at the United Church. Hinesburg Food Shelf is here to help! The Hinesburg Food Shelf is located at 51 Ballards Corners in Hinesburg and is honored to serve families from Hinesburg, Huntington, Monkton and St. George. The food shelf is open on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm and Friday mornings from 10am-12pm. We offer pantry staples, frozen meats, dairy items, tons of produce, hygiene products and pet food.
