August 2024: Let's help our neighbors affected by July's floods!
Our neighbors need our help! Many Hinesburg residents are struggling following the July floods that caused a great deal of damage to homes, driveways, and private roads. If you are interested in donating to the Hinesburg Storm Recovery Fund, click HERE for online donations or mail a check to HCRC, PO Box 444, Hinesburg. Please note in the comment/memo section that your donation is for flood recovery. All donations are tax deductible and will be given directly to our community members in need. July 2024: Flood Assistance for Hinesburg Residents Hinesburg Families affected by the flooding in July, please consider filling out this form if you may need financial assistance for home, driveway, and private road repairs. Friends of Families Playgroups: Thursdays from 10:00-11:30 AM at UCH Indoor Friends of Families Playgroups are back starting September 12th. Meet us every Thursday morning at the United Church of Hinesburg from 10-10:30 AM for stories, songs, and silliness! For ages birth to 5 with a grownup. Spring Clothing and Book Swap: April 13, 2024 from 9am-11am at UCH Our FREE spring clothing and book swap will be held on Saturday April 13th at the United Church of Hinesburg from 9 am-11am. Donations will be accepted starting Friday April 12th at 1pm. Please join us for this great family and community event! Welcome Baby Picnic: June 1, 2024 from 11am-12:30pm Our annual Welcome Baby Picnic will be help on Saturday June 1st from 11am-12:30 at the green space between the HCRC building and the Carpenter Carse Library on Ballard Corners in Hinesburg. The newest members of the Hinesburg will be celebrated at this great community event with light refreshments and a book donated in the child's honor. |
